The Memorial is an independent nondenominational Christian project. It is under the auspices of its own Board and is not a project of First Baptist Church of Winter Garden. Currently First Baptist has donated the location for the memorial and is providing accounting services to support the project. This being done in order to minimize expenses and maximize funds being used for the Memorial. No one nor any organization receives compensation or financial benefit. All monies donated to the Memorial are required by law to be spent only on the Memorial as directed by its independent Board. No donation given to First Baptist Church designated for the Memorial will be spent for the benefit of First Baptist Church. The Memorial is supported by numerous local churches and ministries
